About us

The Raw Chocolate Shop was created by Mood Foods Ltd in 2008 to showcase all of the new raw chocolate products that were emerging in the UK.  The aim was to promote all raw chocolate brands and spread awareness of this new and exciting type of chocolate.

Mood Foods are the creators of Ombar Chocolate, the UK's best-selling raw chocolate brand, and in 2017, with the growing success of Ombar they decided to refocus their energies and look for someone to take over the Chocolate Shop for them. 

Enter, Raw Living! Raw Living made some of the first raw chocolate bars in the world, back in 2005. We used cacao beans, as that was all that was available back then, and hand-pressed them into moulds, to create the Hi-Bar. Fifteen years later, we now produce our own line of five premium chocolate bars, loved by many.

We share Mood Foods' passion and enthusiasm for what we believe to be one of the most wonderfully healing and regenerative foods on the planet. We are honoured to be the new owners of The Raw Chocolate Shop, and to continue the mission to spread this magical food among as many people as we can.
